Leave it better
– Mona Jensen, Founder of Something Green
I generally live by one rule: leave it better.
This means I strive to leave a positive impact by reducing my environmental footprint and leaving people with more knowledge and a can-do attitude.
I believe we already have the knowledge to solve many of the world’s problems, we just need to put the right people in the right places. This is why I write. I want to give you the tools to make a dent in the world.
We don’t have to change the world – just the parts that need changing
Nudging or environmental planning? Both!
What differentiates this blog from the other nudging and behavioral change blogs is a background in environmental science. This means the subjects are approached from both an environmental and a psychological angle.
The purpose of nudging is to serve up simple actions and quick fixes. But environmental issues are multilayered and intertwined — something often overlooked in today’s high-paced world.
That’s why this blog breaks down complicated issues in a way that is easily understood, and offers concrete advice on how to act.
Working with environmental planning
If you are working with environmental planning, I advise you to check out The Environmental Planner’s ABCs for tips on how to promote pro-environmental behavior.
All resources on this blog are free, and don’t hesitate to ask if you have certain subjects you would like us to cover.
